BizTech Fellows is a summer program designed to connect HBCU students in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional growth with industry professionals and experienced mentors to help guide them through the entrepreneurial process of creating a business and conducting customer discovery.
team-based programming to spur growth
Work in teams and learn the customer discovery process as a unit. Team-based exercises will prepare you for a career of working with other professionals and entrepreneurs.
travel stipends to interact with potential customers
This team-based program will run from June through July, and will include travel stipends for opening and closing sessions in Baton Rouge, LA, and for customer discovery outings budgeted by you and your team.
mentorship from expert industry professionals
Hand-selected industry professionals will mentor and guide you through the process of customer discovery from start to finish, leveraging their years of experience and knowledge to help you.
Program begins on June 3rd and 4th with an in-person kickoff event in Baton Rouge and will include weekly virtual meetings on Wednesday evenings until the program concludes in Baton Rouge on August 1st and 2nd.
